There is no admission to this place. We went and had a nice tour and got a bag of chips to go. It is a fun thing to do for an hour. Not a travel destination but a good side trip. Have to give it a 5-star because it's free. The only thing is that I generally don't like Herr's... More

This is always a fun tour with kids. They give you a whole tour of the factory and how the chips are made. You even get a free bag of chips as well as a chance to sample chips right off the line where they're being made. More

Herr's chips are my favorite chips. I took a solo tour of the factory during a business trip. Take the tour and see how the chips are made. At the end of the tour, you get to eat warm chips that were just made right in front of your eyes. YUM! More

It was interesting to see how everything works but for me it was too far of a drive (1.5 hrs) for what it was. More

You do have to make a reservation for this tour. We took the last tour on Friday and there were only 6 people on the tour. It was very interesting to see how the snacks are made. I loved those fresh chip samples. Even better the tour exits through the gift shop. They sell all kinds of snacks you never... More

Cute free tour of snack factory, which my son happens to love. (Maybe because of the free samples of warm chips fresh off the assembly line). Word of warning: if you visit in summer be aware that you may have a 15+min. wait outside between buildings (during tour) with no shade so wear a hat, etc. More
