Having a child who used to love Thomas the Tank Engine means that you've probably seen some model train displays in your time. This one seems a bit dated and the layout only allows you to see it from two sides. That means that shorter people, unless held, might not be able to see more than the edge. The lighting...

This was such a beautiful display... It was built in the 80's but is still really great. The kids loved it and so did we. It's a must see when you visit Downtown Jim Thorpe. I've been building layouts for a long time and this is a beauty! Thank's for the memories!

This is on the whole second floor. Its not one of the best train displays but it is grand. My kids enjoyed watching all the trains going by. It has a big city scene that lights up at night time. I think it was $4-5 for adult and $2 children.
