The Entrance sits on the narrow, shallow, channel connecting Budgewoi Lake to the Ocean. This channel is so shallow that at a few locations one can walk across to the other bank, and is an ideal place for snorkeling, kayaking, fishing or just playing in water. But the highlight certainly is the Pelican Feeding that takes places everyday at 3:15pm....

nice to learn about the areas history and soak up the beautiful surroundings.
Need more garbage bins as area can be quite polluted

I will cherish the memories from The Entrance. I was lucky enough to have a couple friends that own a condo just off the beach here. Everyday we went down to walk around the small town and grab some bird food for the Pelicans. This is one of the main attractions here and it is amazing. I had never seen...
