Whilst it is a small part of Australian History, the Dunera boys and the other prisoners of war who were sent to Hay all had a small imprint on Australia's history. Its a shame we no longer have the rail line.

Stop awhile and visit their five museums, including the Dunera Museum located at the refurbished train station. This museum chronicles the internment of several thousand Germans, Italians, and Japanese men and some families who were rounded up during World War 2....
