We had a great day there. Nice place to visit with the family. We paid an extra £2 each for the guided tour. It was well worth it. A very enthusiastic and knowledgeable man named Alan guided us around. Value for money was good. 2 adults and 2 children cost £33 inc tour. As opposed to eden project, which would... More

Visited The Lost Gardens of Heligan as it was next door to Heligan Woods Campsite where we were staying for a few days and had been recommended by my brother who said it was better than the Eden Project, which I have visited a couple of times. Entrance was £11 for adults, which seems a bit pricey at first but... More

We visited this attraction on a sunny day, the jungle trail was really interesting but the whole experience was worth the visit. The good thing about this place is that they are dog friendly so we were able to walk our dogs around (dog bins available) instead of worrying about them in a hot car. Some of the colours were... Must do the walk around the edge, not just the gardens to get a full picture. Lovely cafe with home cooked food. Farm shop was really well stocked.

These gardens are truly great , a small cafe at the entrance sets you up for your visit. There are various walks some more strenuous than others that take you round the various gardens . The lakes area , the jungle is a great area to visit , there is a rest stop at the stewards house where the were... More

visited the gardens while on holiday and although the flower gardens were lovely the actual walk around the gardens were like walking in our local grassland area. Also the admission price of 11 pounds was definitely too much. Will not be visiting again.

Everyone should visit the Lost Gardens at least once. This extensive subtropical garden (due to the microclimate) fell into disrepair during the First World War, and was only rediscovered in the 1990's. it has been restored (an ongoing project) and the story of the restoration is interesting in itself. the gardens are now spectacular, housing a national collection of huge... The Lost Gardens of Heligan delighted us. The gardens are really a collection of various types of gardens, meadows, water features and farm animals. When one enters, the gate keeper gave us a map and a compass as the place is so large that it would be easy to get lost! Once a month the Gardens host a 6 course... More
