Spanish Ya was a great experience and my only regret is not having booked more time. The teachers are professional, friendly and fun. The curriculum is personalized with just the right amount of structured grammar and conversational support. Yajaira, the owner, is an energentic entrepreneur, justifiably proud of her creation working hard every day to ensure students have a positive... More

Excellent outdoor classes with very friendly and warm teachers. And I learned so much about the culture of Nicaragua and the history of San Juan Del Sur. Learning a second language is not easy for me, and the teachers made it fun and really helped me improve. I can't wait to return this summer. More

Don´t know what to write except the school is great. good teachers. good location (it´s nice to zone out on the breaks and stare at the river). Wish I would have studied a little more out of class, but after 4 hours in class its hard to. I have done other 4 hour a day classes, and I did not... More

I spent a week learning at Spanish Ya about 2 years ago. I returned this month for an additional week of classes. The staff is friendly and organized. Both times I learned more than I thought possible in the short time I had. Go to Spanish Ya!!! More

I studied at Spanish Ya for about 4.5 week this summer (mainly in July 2011). I knew students who studied at other schools in San Juan del Sur and comparing our experiences, I believe Spanish Ya is the best school. It is slightly more expensive than other schools, but it seems to be the most organized. San Juan is a... More

We had an excellent instructor who was fun and very helpful. We had surfing lessons at Chica Brava in the morning and then Spanish classes in the afternoon for 3 hours each day. We were pretty tired after surfing, but our instructor kept the lessons so intriguing and the time went by too fast! We were able to hold a... More

I went by myself for one week of lessons. I am a beginner. Allan picked me up at the airport. I wish I could have stayed longer and I will probably return. The teachers are nice and they made the learning fun. Each week they schedule 3 activities in the afternoons. My activities were yoga, going to a beach and... More

My husband and I went here for a week long immersion course as part of a two week trip. We started off learning spanish the first week, so we could actually use it a bit the second week. It really came in handy when my husband got sick and we needed medicine from the pharmacy. The food was great, location... More
