It was well worth visiting the Tom Ridge centre first. We visited in May on a warm day and spent ages walking the trails and doing some bird watching. It was a bit too early for canoeing or swimming so we only spent one day.

We spent a long time in this park. There was an art show, concessions, lighthouse,beaches, a monument, beautiful foliage, great signage. It was a pleasant experience.

Such a beautiful place to go! Have been there twice for a day trip, would like to go back and stay close by and be able to go there every day. Very scenic, lots of beaches and very picturesque!

I can't say enough about Presque Isle. The views are spectacular. Wildlife is abundant. It's truly an unforgetable experience. DO WEAR BUG REPELLENT as there are ticks in the park. I found one on our van. The only good tick is a DEAD tick.

My family goes to the beaches at Presque Isle often (we only live 25 minutes away.) It's fun to splash in the cool, fresh water and walk along the beach looking for beach glass (small pieces). The only negative would be that the swimming areas are very small, but if you are daring, you can get away from the guarded...
