It was well worth visiting the Tom Ridge centre first. We visited in May on a warm day and spent ages walking the trails and doing some bird watching. It was a bit too early for canoeing or swimming so we only spent one day. More

I can't say enough about Presque Isle. The views are spectacular. Wildlife is abundant. It's truly an unforgetable experience. DO WEAR BUG REPELLENT as there are ticks in the park. I found one on our van. The only good tick is a DEAD tick. More

My family goes to the beaches at Presque Isle often (we only live 25 minutes away.) It's fun to splash in the cool, fresh water and walk along the beach looking for beach glass (small pieces).
