I agree with Julia from FL about how commercial this place is! In fact, the whole area is one big pseudo-Amish tourist trap! With a name like "farmers market" I expected local goods, not a bunch of made-in-China pretend-Amish stuff. The bakery and fudge shops may have locally produced items, but the prices were much higher than I am used... More

There are lots of good things here, and some junk as well, but I had hoped to see a REAL farmer's market instead of a large building with booths selling pre-packaged stuff. What a disappointment. The countryside is pretty though. There are some vendors here who sell quality merchandise that is made by Amish, but a lot of imported stuff... More

I have been coming here for years and have enjoyed it everytime. They have excellent produce, can goods, baked goods, etc., etc.. They also have homemade goods and a nice amish shop inside. This is a must when visiting the Lancaster area. There is something there for everyone. There is also nice shopping within walking distance. More

Very crowded on the weekend. Lot's of buses. Worth it though. Actually bought my Easter Ham there this year and brought back home. Delicious. More

This place opens at 8:30am, check the days depending on when you will be in the area, I was amazed by the variety. There are fresh vegetables and fruits. A fresh meat counter, with beef and chickens, and some deli meats. As you make your way around you have different booths, that sell teas, coffee, crafts, quilts. Also, canned jellies... More

If you are a fan of flea markets traveler, then you will love this place. The girls and I felt rather claustrophobic in here. I much rather drive to each shop and see what they sell. Don't get me wrong-I enjoyed the visit, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return. More

The shops offered a wide variety of wares to sell! The prices were reasonable! Whoopie pies, fudge, candles, shelves, plaques, clocks, crafts, cheeses..the list goes on and on! It was geat! Oh..and the bathrooms were clean! How do they do that with hundreds of people visiting by the hour!! I was impressed! I liked this market better than other Farmers... More

We were told to bring a cooler when visiting the farmer's market and they weren't kidding! So many good things to choose from and not just vegetables! Even in the 'off' season, artisans offer lots of things to choose from. Hungry? No problem! We can suggest the quesadilla and chicken corn noodle soup :-) We wandered around, taking our time... More
