some "scenic routes" have lots of trees and guardrails so you can't really "see" much, but this is a great route along the coast. Perfect drive. Be sure to stop at the lighthouse, overlook, and octopus tree. Great views!!!

This is one the finest scenic drives in the nation! I am kind of used to this stuff as a western Washington native,but this is a NICE! drive!!!! Going out to Cape Flattery in Washington is one for your once in a lifetime drives, but Three capes is BEAUTIFUL and easy off of 101. Don't pass this up.
