Definitely not your typical museum - it was more like a big children's learning and development centre which offered so many different play areas, from water time, story time, theatre staging, clay making, and so much more. This exceeded our expectation, and our almost 2 year old absolutely enjoyed himself. The only suggestion is to enhance the number of catering... More

Our granddaughter stayed with us last summer, and we had the best time here. Lots of interactive things to do. There's a stage where kids can "ham it up," plus crafts, a water room, and more. We visited several times, and she always had a good time. More

We have been to lots of children's museums and this was is truly average. There's one in San Diego that is mind blowing, after that it's difficult to rate any of the others very high. This one has a water area, a medical exploration area, some other play areas that keep the kids busy but don't really teach much. Thus,... More

This place is just so cool, they have so much for little kids to do. Probably best to eat a good lunch before you go, and just bring a few snacks and drinks with you. There are so many exhibits, everything is so hands-on. There is something for children all ages - I can't wait to go back when my... More

My 2-year old grandson loves this place. Lots of things to do and touch. On the first Friday of each month, you can get in for free from 4 to 8 pm, but the crowds can be overwhelming and you may have to deal with some long lines at the more popular exhibits. Better pay the regular admission and enjoy... More

It is expensive and parking adds to the cost. Otherwise, it is a wonderful experience, when it is not crowded. They once offered better food choices for lunch. We pack our own lunch now. My granddaughters love trying the different areas, "Cooking" in the kitchen, or "shopping" in the grocery store. I spent most of my time returning the food... More
