Beware..once you get down to the gardens you aren't going to see anything! The windows looking into the sea have so much algae on them that you can't see any of the sea life...including the octopus! More

The sea life at this facility is great. We enjoy wildlife so much and found this to be quite interesting. More

If you like to look at 25 of the same type of fish, and crab, this place is for you. There is one interesting looking fish, but it's hard to see and probably more interesting to read about than look at. The "show" featured a scuba diver who danced around under the water while tossing around a crab and feeding... More

This place smells bad, the exhibit tanks look dirty, and offers scant educational material to viewers. More

I took the kids on a 'kitsch Newport' weekend. Mostly a gift shop, when I was there I noticed many sick animals. If you are looking for a very-much tourist attraction, this is good, but don't go looking for good oceanic displays. More

We were glad we visited the Oregon Undersea Gardens. After reading reviews, we were tempted to not even go in. In the end, we purchased the three-attraction Mariner Square ticket and decided we would go down to check out the diver show but with very low expectations. As mentioned in fellow reviews, the downstairs area is one large room lined... More

Terribly disappointing. Better value at Oregon Aquarium, or visit local tide pools. More

While you can see it in about 15 minutes the diver at noon made for a great time in displaying all of the various things going on inside the tank while he fed the fish who, all but a couple had gathered for the feeding frenzy. The crabs, all of the fish and especially the octopus. The discussion by Christina... More

Very good show, especially the diver. Good information. Kids of all ages seemed to enjoy it. Watch out for the low ceiling though.. More

This is one of my favorite gift shops in Newport! The show is also very good, but it's best the first time around or for young kids. It's very informative but it's mainly crab and fish. There is a cool octopus and if you're lucky to be there when he's not shy, it's amazing!! But he is very shy and... More
