The lighthouse is small and can only handle a small group at a time, but re-enactors that play the part of lighthouse assistants and home makers make the wait well worth it. Great educational stop for kids! More

We have visited many times, but this visit had exceptionally good docents working! They told the great stories of the lighthouse! It is wonderfully maintained and decorated in period pieces! Worth the trip! More

Lighthouse is a great spot to visit. Make sure you check out the tide pools - we viewed at low tide and were amazed at the sea life we were able to see. Well worth the stop. More

The baby cormorants filled the rock surface. Several duck species were feeding in the rough waters near the rocks. A mother and young gray whale were feeding close enough to shore that we could see their backs roll the surface when we spotted the spouted water from their blow hole. Look around in the fields at the diversity of plants... More

A lighthouse in the middle of a house! Group that maintains it have done an excellent job of showing how things were there in the late 19th century. More

A great natural area to visit. The tide pools are active, be sure to go only at low tide. check the tide charts and try to be there when the low tide is "negative". More

This lighthouse is right at the edge of town, so it it very easy to get to. It is fun to see the inside of the 'house' type of lighthouse and to be able to view the furniture that the original occupants may have had. More
