I grew up coming here and they have made some changes. I think it would be great to see even more changes. It does not seem quite as boring and quick so I think its coming close to being worth the money you spend there. You have to at least go once!

The wax museum was pretty good, it had an american idol station set up where the kids could actually pick a song and 3 people could sing along with microphones and they had 3 wax judges and Ryan Seacrest. Pretty okay, better price if you do all 3 exhibits together.
This place hasn't changed much in twenty plus years. Most of the models didn't look much like the real thing. Very dark throughout. Very oudated and wayyyyy overpriced!
The kids had a blast. They wanted a picture with all of the figures. Awesome/creepy place to visit with kids.
Check out some famous faces here! I checked it out with my kids YEARS ago. As with any place of this type, my favorite section is always the horror movie genre.
The wax works is pretty awesome to see.The figures look so real you think they're going to reach out and grab you. Take your camera so you can get pics of yourself next to Marilyn Monroe or Elvis. There of course is a gift shop at the end.
The place was very dimly lit to conceal the poor resemblances and bad wigs. Good thing they had name cards.
We went because the kids had never been and we wanted them to see if however the music in the idel room wasn't working neither did the spining tunle and the whole place smelt like mold. I wont be returning
The Wax Works is another quickie Newport tourist trap and like the Undersea Gardens, I don't think it's quite worth it's third of the combo pack either. A lot of wax figures of celebrities and movie characters make up most of the museum. They do have some historical displays as well like Mount Saint Helens that are interesting to look...

Not a whole lot to see. The displays are relatively entertaining. A few unexpected. A bit of explaining of exhibits to younger people..The best thing to do is to buy the 3 attraction combo. Ripleys, The Wax Works and Oregon Undersea Gardens.
