My wife and I made a special trip up from Newport,OR where we were vacationing. We have thoroughly enjoyed NBW for several years. We stock up on their sweet red when ever we can at the festivals or farmers market in Portland. John was fantastic. He took us on a journey exploring some new blending techniques that we had never... Don't waste your time at this winery. We were practically apologetic to the "server" because his non-verbal signs showed nothing but distain, impatience and absolutely no interest in us. I fully agree there should be a category of zero stars as that is what they deserve with the treatment we were given. We did try two wines- probably should have... More

Roy, the owner, was super welcoming and extremely laid back. if your looking for wine without the snobery, just looking for an enjoyable place with enjoyable people, head out to nehalem bay winery. You wont feel like just another customer, but a good friend.

Roy was very nice and gave us a great experience! It was a great part of our women's retreat! Roy even took a picture of us in front of the barn, our Volvo, and our goblets :)

First, the wine is fine! Even though the service was poor, we still bought two bottles. This is strange, as the nuances of service sometimes elude people who think they are providing proper service, which it seems this person may have believed. I'm not sure what it is about wineries (we've experienced this before), but the tasting staff makes all... More

My wife and I stopped in today during our anniversary trip. Melissa was extremely professional and very knowledgeable about the winery and the wine itself. She is a very friendly and happy person. Every time we visit Nehalem Bay Winery, we are greeted with a smile and are treated like family!! Thanks guys, keep up the good work!!

I first found this winery on accident while taking a scenic drive around the coast. The man behind the counter, Frank, was fantastic. Generous tastings, and he was very pleasant and fun. It's located in an old creamery, with information about its beginnings available to read and peruse. Definitely worth stopping and plan on spending at least an hour there.... More

We're very picky about wine, and only like really sweet ones. They had 8 that they had for us to taste! And they were all very good. The peach one was the sure favorite, and we bought a bottle to take home!

We stumbled upon this beautiful winery set in the farmland of coastal Oregon. The owner happened to be there, back from his world travels, and was so kind! We talked wine, traveling, and Oregon. He gave us a generous tasting and was genuinely interested in us and what we thought of the wine. We felt so relaxed and are so... More

While the winery is just off of the 101, it has to be part of anyone's US 101 itinerary. There are not may wineries along the coastal highway and its non-pretenious locale in a turn of the 19th Century creamery (cheese factory) that over looks a nearby river valley, makes for relaxed and charming road trip stop. There are wines... More
