This is a great show and good for the whole family. From the layout, food selection and viewing it is wonderful. We have been attending for years.

I personally don't enjoy air shows but this event is very popular if you are an airplane buff. It's in the summer when it is almost always good weather. There are many airplanes to look at and lots of aerial displays.

I like the military aircraft, especially the thunderbirds and Blue Angles. The routines are impressive and so exact considering they are traveling so fast and working with other planes.

This is a great event if you are prepared for a few of the things that are just part of the whole experience. This is one of the best shows in Oregon each year! Families take blankets and picnics out to see the machinations of the airplanes. Usually the Blue Angels or some other flying group performs at this event. Something to look forward to!

Varies widely depending on weather and if they can get the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds. We live close and often enjoy practices from our backyard. They often have unusual events or aircraft.

After the tragic accident several years back I had hoped Hillsboro would just let this event go - but they continue to bring the Blue Angles or Thunderbirds (along with a lot of other acts) back to the midst of a densely populated area. The amount of effort, training of the pilots, the old time airplanes, and the time of the year is perfect for an airshow. I hope the neighbors don't mind. gREAT FOR YOUNG KIDS TO SEE!
