Spent many weekends with my young kids skiing at Timberline this winter. Overall highly recommend going to Timberline for skiing. Positives * wide range of runs - from beginner to advanced * long runs * great views, especially from Magic Mile and Palmer * long ski season (they get alot of snow) * Good parking (not far from ski zone)... We just walked through the lodge, but it is just so rustic and interesting - I'd love to come back and spend some nights and eat dinner there. Great access to the ski areas and special storage lockers for gear and inside storage for your boots.

A good place to learn to snowshoe! The lodge is beautiful and easy to stop in for a beverage or food. Good service!

The ski resort at Timberline has a variety of runs, from the easy to the black diamond. I recommend the beginning leg of West Leg run but not after that, it's a bit too flat. The lifts have short lines, quick lifts and all runs can easily lead you back to the Timberline lodge for a hot beverage.

Had a great time at Timberline. Skiing and lifts were great and I particularly love the lodge. The food is a few steps better than most ski areas and the small lodge offers many cute spaces to cozy up with a beer or special hot beverage of the day.

Favorite place in the Pdx area to snowboard. Yummy drinks, great ski runs, cool atmosphere and just an amazing facility.

There's a good variety of ski runs with high speed lifts. The mountain setting is beautiful with gorgeous views of the cascades.

We did a 2 hr snowboard class. Our instructor Jeremy was exceptional. He never gave up on us despite my lack of skill. Ask for him, he was great!

We enjoyed playing in the snow, and watching all the snowboarders and skiers enjoying the slopes. The winter scene was picturesque. We enjoyed the bar, and hot winter beverages inside this warm and inviting area.

During the week it is opened during the day, it is not very crowded at all, if it is clear, the views are amazing. The ski rental shop was very helpful and easy to work with. There is no apres ski activities and once the mountain closes, it is kind of strange - especially compared to Colorado ski areas
