Great place to go if you want to get away. Beautiful trails and many options through the OSU forest. Maps available and parking is free.

Lots of mixed hiking trails, including areas for horses and dogs. Wanders through the McDonald forest with occassional views across valleys and hillsides. Suitable for short hikes and long hikes.

Lets face it, McDonald-Dunn forest is generally not a very flat place. Beginner mountain bikers will have a hard time climbing up some of the steep roads and hills. Peavy Arboretum is a great place for families and beginners because there is Intensive-Management / Calloway Trail ; it is where I take all newbie mountain bikers friends. It's a well...
