We were there preforming for the Oklahoma Historical Society. It was their Coffee House show. The people with the theater were wonderful. The sound man, Jim, was super. We couldn't have asked for anything more. The theater itself has been restored and was beautiful. The acoustics were outstanding. One can tell that time and money was put into this project.... More

Of course I liked it very much, because my father and mother were wiith the traveling company that did the decorations, murals, and gold-leaf when the Coleman first opened. All of this opulent artwork, luxurious carpeting, drapes, and other period appointments were included in the restoration. The theater tour is very interesting, and if all is the same as when... More

Locals have worked to restore this amazing jewel that was built in 1929 as a "movie palace" by a Miami (pronounced My-am-uh) man who struck it rich in the mining business. Dusk in downtown shed a nice light on the historic buildings. It was after hours, so we couldn't get a tour, but the plaque in front said it all. More

A restored theater from the 1920's. It still has productions plus tours. The day we were there a couple from Ireland was visiting and also a c ouple from Germany. The 200 pipe organ is a sound that one doesn't hear anymore. The tour is free. You don't find that much anymore either. Visit and enjoy. More

I went when they were first remodeling it back to it's glory of years past till now when it is probably if not fully it's nearly restored. It has the ornamental... More
