Very nice park with a focus on the natural. No swing sets or huge mown fields here. The park consists of an information center and a number of walking trails. Relatively isolated, but you have the same trouble as anywhere else. Kids don’t stay on the paths and trample the flora/fauna. Parents do nothing to keep kids from swing on... More

Very wooded and for the most part the trails are solid and in good shape. Peace and quiet, great excercise. No floral, all trees and greenery.

What a wonderful, peaceful place to go and it's in the city. I was very impressed with the trails, the flowers, the building and the man that works there. (He is very nice and informative.) There are many different trails and none disappoint. If you are looking for a little quiet time, this is the place to go.

this is a park behind Childer's school. It is a nice walk to see nature. Some parts are paved and there are more than one trail.

A peaceful & beautiful place in a peaceful & beautiful little city. I love to go walk here especially during the week when not many people are around. You can soak up the green peace!

Beautiful, FREE (you don't hear that everyday) walking trails. Even if it's hot outside, the 90% of the trails are shaded. What's unusual is that it's located right next to a neighborhood and two public schools, but you'd never know it when you're out exploring. There's small information center which seems to have odd hours, but it's nice when it... More

The walk is a most beautiful landscape! The turns and paths are so much fun, and keep the walk from being monotonous! The creatures and animals add to the journey.

Very quiet and relaxing area. Lots of spots to take family or individual photos. Trail is neat to walk. You don't realize you are exercising as there is enough things to look at.

My wife and I love hiking here. Not a huge place, but plenty big for a good hike/wookout. Be sure to visit the nature center there too, it has some neat things to see and details park and city history.

When we just need to get outside, this is the place my kids love to go to! Has a couple trails, pond, creek, wildlife, and bridge. My kids love to explore and this is the perfect place!
