Great place to take the kiddies! The cows were friendly, the chickens loved the food and the babies loved the gobbling turkeys! More

I grew up going to this farm, but hadn't been back in probably 10 years. I took my mom in mid-December for dinner at the Malabar Inn Restaurant (see review) and found out from the waiters that they were having a candle light tour of Malabar Farm that night. Little paper lanterns lit the way from the parking lot to... More

This place is really cool. It is a working farm with animals, crops, and hiking trails. The hiking trails are a little difficult to find but once you find them the place offers about 8 miles of walking through some really nice areas. There is a secret cave, cool rock formations, and big pretty meadows. At the visitor center they... More

Louis Bromfield was a writer of novels and books about farming. He is mostly forgotten today, but was well known in the early part of the 20th Century. Several of his novels were purchased to be made into movies. He was a friend of the actor Humphrey Bogart. Mr. Bogart and Lauren Bacall were married at his home at Malabar... More

We really enjoyed our picnic lunch here. They have picnic tables set up everywhere. We found a great one under a tree in the shade. The farm tour on a wagon was short (1/2 hour) and not very informative. Our guide spent more time pointing out landmarks and spouting trivia than actually giving information about innovative farming practices used on... More
