It was a little disappointing not to get a guided tour but they allowed you to look around on your own.

This is the last operating washboard manufacturer in the country. They still make them by hand. You can tour the factory and visit the new Washboard Museum. Some washboards are still used for their original purpose but now many are used in home decor.

Not many folks alive today can recall washing clothes on a washboard, HOWEVER....there is still a demand for them and unbelievably, there is still a factory making them today in the good ole US of A.
