We were at Airstream to have some repairs done. There was a factory tour--free- at 2 PM. It was great.! It was fun to see how these American classics are made. And the folks at Airstream are super nice, super competent, and delightful to do business with. Go there--you will love it! But, look out---you will probably want to own...

My husband & I took the free tour and found it very interesting. A guide walks you through the factory showing how the aluminum sheets are cut and riveted, the furniture is crafted and everything is put together creating those silver bullets. The employees were polite and tolerant of the tour group peeking inside the trailers and seemed genuinely proud...

This is a great tour whether you are into the legendary Airstream travel trailers or not...and we had both types in our group! Be prepared to walk a lot in sensible shoes and be in a noisy factory setting. But the process of watching these mostly hand built mini-homes is worth the drive to little out of the way Jackson...

I took my 7 1/2 year old daughter over to the Saint Marys area for a 2 day adventure that included this factory tour. It is a really neat tour because we actually got to go through the production facility and see the entire process of how an Airstream trailer goes from initial order to completed trailer. The tour guide...
