we visit monthly and because we are members of the RHS the visit is free. The food is very good, although prices are rising. Makes a lovely afternoon with changing foliage all the time. Excellent shop and garden center.

A nice day out if the weather is good. Would like to return in the summer when more plants are flowering.
Nice cafe - lovely lemon cake!
The main reason for our visit was the craft fair that was going on that weekend, which was ok but we thought it would be bigger.
Will definitely return occasionally if we get...

Repair work ongoing in one area but still a delightful place to visit. A very overcast afternoon but very interesting to walk round. The sort of garden that gives you ideas as to how you could replicate in your own. Very nice food in the clean restaurant. Altogether a lovely place to visit on your own or with family or...

Not as big or busy as Wisley Gardens and with some area still under development. Lovely spring flowers. Nice restaurant and shop.
I have enjoyed a couple of visits to Hyde Hall in the past and been very happy. However the craft fair was very dissapointing. It was billed as a huge event with loads of craft stalls. There were a couple of marquees with small tables around the edges, with very limited displays, and a very hot barn which had a...

It has been a while since we last visited Hyde Hall, and we were pleasantly surprised. They have obviously being working very hard to improve the layout and planting. Even on a rather overcast afternoon in a very late spring, the gardens had colour and shape.
The volunteer staff are pleasant and knowledgeable, which adds to a good experience.

We go often now. Always a pleasant experience. Once went when restaurant overwhelmed but food always good. Buggy for the frail and clean loos and good staff. Shop pricey but lots to choose from. Prone to be windy so take a coat.
I dunno much about plants but the staff do and are helpful.
The whole place is very relaxing....

As other reviews state, Hyde Hall feels new compared with other RHS gardens. I'd not done a lot of research, so this came as a surprise to me but it makes for an interesting comparison with their other locations. I am also keen to go back to see how the RHS develops it.
There are nevertheless large and impressive beds,...

Lovely gardens in various themed areas. Good map and a personal introduction given by a volunteer when we arrived - very helpful. Even though there was a bitterly cold wind on the day we visited there were areas out of the wind to sit. Many of the plants were well labelled and currently the dry garden is being expanded and...

We have visited this garden several times over the last 3 years. The gardeners have planned the garden to a "T", each time we visit there is the obvious seasonal variation of flowers and blossom. The gardens compared to the other RHS sites is relatively new, so Hyde Hall is constantly being developed, but in a nice way. There will...
