The topiaries are a work in progress, and you can see the metal frameworks on which the yews are growing. Yes, they are live plants, not plastic.... More

If you like Impressionism, and you like the painting by George Seurat called A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of Grand Jatte, then you should visit the topiary garden. Stand at the south east corner of the garden and view as if you are one of the characters in the painting.....meticulously shaped and maintained shrubbery by a single arborist. You'll... More

The few times I've been here it's needed a little upkeep but, considering that it's a free park, it's definitely worth a visit. The topiary is a replica of Seurat's "A Sunday in the Park..." painting and, as well as that, there are lovely paths to walk and a pond wiith flowering lily pads. My grandsons, around 8 and 10... Went on a bus trip that stopped there to eat our lunch. I had never been there nor heard of it but it was beautiful! They need to get the word out about it because I have talked with many people who live in Columbus and they have never heard of it~but then again maybe they want to keep it... More

I enjoyed seeing the topiary garden, which had topiary of people dressed in Victorian outfits and was located in a historic park that used to be the playground for the deaf school located across the street (now some type of historically maintained office building). It's located in a historic buildings district that seems to be mostly offices, so if you... More
