“Nice destination close to the art museum, worth visiting”

Unlike the two previous reviewers, I went to the Thurber House with no preconceived notions that the experience would be "great." We visited the Thurber house in late fall for the first time. We are big fans of historic homes. We first saw the Thurber house on one of the ghost hunting shows and it piqued our interest. It's hard to know exactly where to begin. While no doubt the good women that inhabit the Thurber house with their endless girlish chatter are all deeply involved in tremendous (if mysterious) good works, but to call this mish mash of a destination "The Thurber House and Museum" is to invite comparison with the houses of other writers long dead,...
