Fun place to explore and people watch. Wonderful restaurants and stores to browse in. Parking can be a problem. If you find a valet lot I would pay for the valet instead of feeding the meters on the street.

Five years ago, I moved away from Columbus to Santa Fe, NM. The Short North is what I miss the most and what will get me to move back some time soon. This is a real neighborhood without the tourist hype that can drive you nuts in a tourist town. Visit High Street, but head over to Goodale Park, too....

The Short North is everyone in Columbus' pride and joy. Twenty years ago it was a run-down area, but one by one, shop owners, gallary owners, restaurants, bars, and more have turned it into the hottest place in Columbus! Just a few blocks from the Columbus Convention Center and the Arena District, it's safe, clean easy to walk. The first...

The Short North District is 5-6 blocks or urban renewal at it's best. We love a spring visit. There is a special day monthly; however, we simply enjoy a normal day's visit. The Short North District is a very special inspiration in our capital city; Go!
I LOVE the Short North! They have excellent little shops, gallery hop once a month and a lot of bars and restaurants!
This area of Columbus is a mix of San Francisco's Castro district and New Orleans French Quarter. This area houses many art galleries, restaurants, theaters, and quaint shops. The recent renovation of the Garden Theater is a welcomed addition to this neighborhood. Most of the activity in this area is found on High Street. On the weekends, I highly recommend...

The Short North Arts District was our destination for one of our days in Columbus and we were not disappointed. It is lined with great boutiques, art galleries and antique stores. We were able to purchase many unique items and enjoyed drinks and lunch at the Surly Girl Saloon.
A nice stroll from downtown, this are includes galleries, specialty shops and a market featuring a great selection of yummy foods. Better when you have a few bucks to spend, so you can grab a waffle, a coffee or a deli lunch. A nice park just tucked behind will give you a place to sit down and enjoy your wares.
The short north district in Columbus, on High st; is a very nice place to walk the area and see all the wonderful shops and friendly people. There is a very diverse atmosphere in the area, finding everything from art to a doggie bakery. Yummys for the dogs, they will love it.....
