Great place for a refreshing break on a hot day. Good beer in historic old warehouse between the Murray River and the railway station. Added interest is the beer-making equipment that can be easily viewed and various other displays and artefacts around the place.

Every trip to the Fleurieu Peninsula should include at least one visit to the Steam Exchange Brewery. They brew a top quality hand made selection of ales and stout, and offer wine from their sister winery. Great water views- in & out. Best on lazy sunny afternoons. Don't have to be a Pint drinker as they have small affordable tasters (& wine & coffee). New beer is Fleurieu Ale - really powerful yet tasty!

Top little spot with a tasty beer. Now I don't drink beer but my husband has made it his life's work and reckons the beer was pretty spot on for a little brewery.
