My partner and i took the 4WD tour after it was recommended to us by our hosts at the Exotic Fruit Farm. Our guide was lovely and clearly had an interest in the local area. Our trip was informative and relaxed as we made several stops along the Bloomfield track. Much enjoyed time and my only regret is not having... More

My wife Isabella lives in Tuscany and was asked to take a group of her Italian friends to Australia for a tour. To cut a long story short, she had booked a Jungle Night Walk and Half Day Safari with Lawrence Mason of Mason’s Tours for her group of 15 people and had paid for this in advance which we... More

We went on the night time croc walk in March 2012, during the wet season. It was great! Went walking through the rainforest for about 90 minutes first and spotted some great local wildlife...mostly lizards and insects. Being the wet season, it started pouring on us about half-way through, but that only added to the experience. The tour supplies raincoats... More

We booked a 4WD tour of the bloomfield track with Mason's and another company based on numbers. Which was organised by our hotel, we did not know that we had to pay in advance, and our hotel was put under persistent pressure from Masons to supply credit card details and pay while we were out for the day. stating they... It saddens me to read such a spiteful, offensive and cowardly review from people who never asked to speak to me the manager. Yes we demand payment in advance for all tours, the same as any airline or bus company. The fact that the hotel they stayed with will only book tours by supplying the guest's credit card, as opposed... More

This trip was fantastic.  The guide was really nice and knew a lot that he told us in an interesting way. We started with a tour in the rain forest and after that we went looking for crocodiles. Sadly we didn't see any but the tour was still really pleasant. I would really recommend this night tour.  More

Thank you so much for taking the time to review. I am really pleased that you have commented on the Indigenous walk, as we are trying to mentor Walker's Tours and your comments will make my feedback to them more meaningful. I will also take your comments re the Chinese Shrine onboard, it is really more of a timing issue... More

I traveled a lot of Australia after I went on Mason's Tour in Cape Tribulation but I always kept looking back on it as a no less than five star activity. Lawrence Mason was incredibly knowledgeable about the rainforest - from insects to reptiles to trees - but made our small group feel very welcome. Bar getting to see loads... More

exploring the Daintree Forest with a guide, no paths , just trails occasionally needing to be cleared by a machete wielding guide was a hot yet exhiilarating experience. we learnt about the forest, the fruits and flowers and the fauna. our guide lawrence was entertaining yet eduational and his passion for the area was obvious. we really enjoyed our 4hr... We came up to Cape Tribulation at the end of our Australia trip and were looking for a tour that could do the work for us and show us around without having to do the research ourselves. We are not picky travelers at all, but the tour left us completely underwhelmed. The guide was nice but not very enthusiastic, and... More

I am not sure what this review is talking about. Firstly I am unable to identify the travellers, and they have not contacted me directly. The comment that we 'felt like we spent the day sitting in a 4WD' is astounding as the tour stops for walk at Emmagen Valley and Cowie Beach, and an Indigenous Walk at Bloomfield Falls.... More
