Not to impressed. After snorkeling, we were ready to get back to the resort but ate the included lunch which wasn't that great and had to pay extra for drinks.

Please go swim at akumal ! You do have to be able to swim against the ocean current a short ways but if you can the pay off is worth it! Don't need an expensive tour to enjoy this wonderful display of nature. Bus, Taxi, Rental Car, Skateboard - just get there. Affordable snorkeling gear at the beach provided by very helpful attendants. The turtles are great - peaceful and docile - they let us observe them. We brought our own equipment, but you can rent by the parking lot or the stand right on the beach. You can pay to take a tour or just do it yourself. First time we saw many turtles. Second time missed out on turtles but saw stingrays and fish. Always a fun time.

Its a guarantee to see turtles, our tour guide Emmy, was excellent. We also saw sting rays, the coral reef and a baracuda. Everything we saw got within arms reach of us, so the photos are great. It was amazing to see such beautiful creatures.
