We snorkeled here May 25, 2008. Lots of fish like snorkeling in aquarium. Went early in the morning and back again in the afternoon close to closing. The water was silty as we swam towards the open ocean but there were schools of larger fish. Water clarity was better inland with Angelfish, barracuda, butterflyfish, parrot etc. My husband caught a... More

We were snorkeling in the park on 18th of May. My husband found a ring that has an inscription on it. If you can confirm the inscription, I will mail the ring to you! (Alex-this is meant for you!) I will keep an eye on this site for a reply. On a another note, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at... More

Wow! This was a fun time. Lot's of beautiful fish. It really is like swimming in an aquarium. We all loved it. Very good for beginner snorkelers, too. It is a lot less scary than the open ocean and all the waves. We had a couple of people who were fairly new at snorkeling on this trip and this provided... More

The best time to snorkel is morning around opening. The lagoons were full of pretty fish. We did not get to see any turtles but it was by far the best place to snorkel. More

This is such a fun and beautiful place. The best snorkeling we have experience in RM (better than the area theme parks, etc). More

Our rental car provider suggested we check this place out, and boy are we glad we did. Wonderful snorkeling, tons of types of fish and not crowded at all. Loved every minute and it was only $10 bucks...we had our snorkel gear.... More

Like being in a big tropical fish tank, we saw all sorts of beautiful fish. Water is much cooler than the ocean and crystal clear. The gardens are lovely and well maintained, and the statues are very interesting and sensual. The staff is friendly and helpful. More

Hi. I recently went snorkeling at the Yal-Ku Lagoon... This was the best snorkeling that I have ever done in Mexico.. It was a rough day on the ocean, making it an excellent day in the Lagoon as the fish were taking shelter.. Nice a calm water with millions of fish.. All sizes ,shapes and colours. Not many people there as... More

the fish in this area are beautiful, lots of room to snorkel. the only thing that I was dissapointed about, there is no beach or really anywhere to hang out...unless you want to rent a hut thing. More

Lovely freshwater meets salt water lagoon. Lots to see and hired a palapa to have some shade. Had to shower to take off sun cream before entering to protect the water. More
