We rented a locker and lock for 60 pesos. Brought our own snorkel vests. Snorkelled for over an hour, saw 5 turtles, including a baby. Loved being able to shower off before heading to Tequilaville for Coconut Shrimp and Cervacas. Will definitely be back again next year!

“Great snorkling, easy shop to use”

Akumal Dive shop offers a range of experiences. We booked the Robinson Crusoe day trip. It was awesome! The crew and staff were first class. Our original trip was canceled due to wind, but they rescheduled us two days later. We didnt catch anything -- but we still had a great time. After our trip was over we snorkled in the bay and had lunch at the restaraunt in the bay. It was a great day.

We used this Dive Shop because we needed to rent a locker while we went snorkeling. They told us in order to rent a locker, you also have to rent a minimum equivalent to life jackets, which ended up being perfect anyway. Granted, the Riveria Maya isn't exactly remote anymore, but the city of Akumal is not as touristy as Cancun or Playa Del Carmen.
