Start at Plaza Grande for your holiday in Patzcuaro. Don't miss the Dance of the old Men. Across the street, try the Pasta Ice Cream, but not if you are craving elbow macoronni! Pasta is flavored with ground almonds, cream and a splash of cinnamon! Yum! More

There's nothing to dislike. It is just a normal plaza used by normal people and not just for display for tourists. Very clean , and pretty much preserved More

The plaza is a big open space with beautiful tall old trees. It is sorrounded by shops, hotels and restaurants and you can have a typical "pasta" icecream and just sit and relax. In the afternoons there are all kinds of local performances like "El baile de los viejitos" and other typical dances More

Easy walk from any part of Centro. Many Artisans selling quality wares add character and color to the Plaza. 16th century buildings are unbelievable. Restaurants surrounding Plaza Grande offer exceptionally good food. It's fun to sit at a table outside and chit-chat with fellow Gringos while sipping a Margarita. More

The cultural center of Patzcuaro surrounded by shops, restaurants and hotels. An extremely well kept plaza that is vibrant both day and night. A real treat that allows one to grasp the flavor of this city and some of its historical significance. Great people watching from the numerous sidewalk restaurants. More
