Place has everything you need while travelling. Nothing special, but convenient. A liquor outlet would complete the package. BUt, everything else is available.

We always stop at Masstown Market if we are passing by. There are neat gift ideas you don't find anywhere else. The bakery and deli are wonderful and reasonably priced compared to nearby markets/ bakeries. Produce, groceries, nslc, bakery, deli, gift ware, seafood, all under one roof. What more could you need?

We stopped in for lunch. I had a ham sandwiche. My partner had a roast beef sandwiche and soup. The bread and soup were made on site. Our food was delicious and fresh. Place your order and pay at the counter. Then grab a seat. They have a large bakery section so you can buy a baked treat to go.... More

Great spot but pricey and the snack bar food wasn't as good as I heard. The coffee is wonderful though! I did love the fish and chips at the Boat in the summer but the winter meals inside I will not be getting again . I also found the store quite dirty and dusty in areas.

Great market with places to eat - healthy in the market place and just outside is a newly constructed windmill which holds a fish and chip restaurant. The market itself has a bakery, butchers, general grocery, fruit and veg, gift store - with some unusual stuff and ice cream parlour. Worth a visit on your way to Parrsboro.
