Great historic visit. Like a mini Williamsburg but easier access. You can even park on their streets so everything is easy to get to. The host in the Gun Shop had alot of interesting knowledge about the Moraivians along with the host in the African-American Church. More

This is probably not a kid's first choice for fun, but it is a very nice day trip for adults. The tour is interesting and the horse and buggy rides are relaxing and romantic. I had a very quick trip to Old Salem for a lunch meeting and shop at museum gift shop. I really enjoyed lunch as well as the trip to the bakery. The gift shop was disappointing, but I did find other shopping options that were more interesting. I'm entrigued, and look forward to returning for more exploration. More
