If you like retro style establishments and also have a passion for all things Coca-Cola then the Cola Cafe in Toodyay is for you. It is worth the 90 minute drive from Perth as much for the great hamburgers and fudge sundaes as it is to view the extensive collection of Coke memorabillia which is plentifully displayed. This establishment has... More

I went on a day trip to Toodyay a small farming town about an hours drive from Perth. I also had a stop over at Hoddywell Archery Park, I had a go at archery and really enjoyed it. The archery park is the only attraction that was exciting in the town. check them out at hoddywellarchery.com.au More

We love the organic olive oil that is made on a property just out of town. Town centre itself has some small shops but not many food outlets. Well organised visitor centre. More

A lovely old main street & some interesting history. Whilst close to Perth it is still definitely rural. More

This is a nice drive from Perth on good roads. The town is small with lots of interesting shops to visit. It has a few coffee shops and plenty of place to eat. Do the scenic drive visit Coorinja winery on the way up, it is on the right hand side of the road. A good drop can be had there... More

On both occasions (4 months apart) at Moondyner Cafe along main street, the (old) staffs overcharged us for fish & chips and coffee. When I inquired the items, they INSTANTLY correct the price in a split of a second!!! Beside, the (old) staffs are quite arrogant towards ASIAN visitors! We will never return to this dead town again! Toodyay is worth a trip out of Perth for, if you want to see an historical old country town in WA. The bakery is excellent and there is a park where you can have picnics. More
