The GDC is home to the Leaning Tower of Gingin, a 45 meter tall steel structure, leaning at an angle of 15 degrees. We invite you to climb all the way to the top and drop water filled balloons.. Just like Galileo did some 440 years ago. There is spectacular art in the Cosmology Gallery as well as an amazing timeline of the birth of our Universe and evolution on our planet Earth.Discover Black Holes, giant Pendulum and beautiful Wildflowers. Join us for a spring bushwalk. We are only 1 hour North of Perth, just off Wanneroo Rd. « less

Due to a few school/daycare groups at the centre there were no guids available to the public which I think is a must. The Leaning Tower was awesome - very proud to make it to the top!! Would recommend to visit if in the area but not to make a special visit. More

Many interactive displays not working; too many typographical errors in signage. Enthusiastic staff, but overall this is not an "attraction" I'd show visitors. More

Not worth the LONG drive out. Tour guides are extremely helpful and friendly however my children thought it was VERY boring. More

There are a lot of attactions and experiments with gravity that will keep interest and educate anyone from toddlers up to seniors - climb up the 22 story high leaning tower to replicate the gravity experiment is only for the fit but... The GDC is part of the Gin Gin Observatory, and they have created an interactive display of basic physics concepts. The $15 adult entrance fee also gets you access to the "leaning tower of Gin Gin" which has panoramic views over the surrounding bush. Its a good time killer if you have some to spare, but probably not worth the... More
