This boat tour was a lovely way to spend an hour. We did the 3pm tour and only had a small group of 17. There is also a 8am tour. The seasonal tour guide obviously loved this gorge because he spoke of it with passion. He knew his info and was happy to share it. The boat has no sun... More

A wonderful experience - the first Gorge of our trip and very memorable even now after many more that we saw on our Kimberley trip. The Cruise along the river to see the Gorge was comfortable, informative, and picturesque. Make sure you have your camera ready. Recommend to all..... More

This is a very popular cruise. It is well organised and the boatman has a dry larconic Aussie sense of humour. Volunteers did a great job too! Not to be missed but do take a hat - there is no roof on the boat and take the binoculars. More

The Gorge itself is rewarding and the over-long two hour trip on the small open boat interesting when giving close-up views of the ancient cliffs. We landed for billy tea and then mainly just floated around with the tour-guide's barely inspiring commentary. The skipper/ tour guide suddenly changed from exchanging banter and became quite rude, attempting to put down one... More

You can't book this, just turn up at the ranger information hut at the gorge and about 30 mins before the boat leaves you can buy a ticket. We all got on. A fantastic guide/skipper - very knowledgeable and with a great sense of humour -added to the trip. Saw great rock formations and we counted 41 freshwater crocs. More

We tried to book onto the whole day tour, but it was fully booked. We ended up on the 2 hour trip, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We were a little worried that we would not get on the boat so we got there early, but we should not have worried as the boat took 100 and they could attach another... More

Our last day of our 13 day APT Kimberley tour started with the owner of Darngku crusies. We were given a little information about the aboriginal culture on our trip. Billy brought the culture alive with examples of how the aboriginals deal with problems. All of this was done around a camp fire having billy tea. The cruise went for... More
