I did visit Favignana from Trapani with both Siremar and Ustca Lines. Let me tell you not to take a Trip on Siremar Hydrofoils but only on the Ustica Lines ones, which are a lot more bigger and more comfortable. More

Very chaotic experience - like many English people before me, I wish Italians could learn to queue!! Ferries were late both ways, nobody knew where they were supposed to be... Still at least we got to Favignana and back safely (seemed decent modern craft). More

Great thing to try, good schedule, it takes 30 minutes to get to Favignana. If you are traveling in August, make sure you buy tickets in advance. More
