I went with high hopes, but the older district just behind Changdi street was WAY more interesting. There is a large historic district with markets, winding streets, old brick buildings, just what you would imagine in a historic Chinese city. Changdi was nice, I just appreciated the residential streets more.

I literally grew up with this bustling night market. The whole street lit up as night falls. You will find small street merchants everywhere selling literally everything, from Chinese medicines to ice creams, from dress to socks. The best part I like when I was a kid is the local entertainment. You can find a bunch of talented local singers...
