If it's on your way or you are going by the turn off for it by all means go. A nice fairly short drive off the main road. Water spouts all the time.

It is set in a beautiful area, but the geyser is man-made! But, is a beautiful area to shoot photos, especially if the train comes through during your visit!

Still not spouting. Is it the dry weather, broken pipe, or ??? September 2, 2011. We did catch a train westbound through the loops.

We drove up to the "geyser" for a picnic lunch. To our dismay, the "geyser" was NOT even turned on.

We were driving through the town of Old Fort, NC and happened to see the sign for Andrews Geyser. We decided to drive out to see it.. We found it well worth the drive. It's a beautiful, quiet place to visit.
