This was a nice trail with signs explaining the foliage. It's secluded and well taken care of. 3/4 of mile with a scenic overlook. Enjoyable.

A beautiful day trip at the Crystal Coast. Pack a picnic and bug spray. Walk for miles or just sit in the woods and enjoy the peace and quiet.

It is a small 3/4 mile walk in the local area. It was neat to be out in the underbrush because it was different than our scenery back home.

This is a beautiful little walk, and is a great example of the natural coastal setting. It's a very easy walk - good for anyone. BUT the air can be still once you get into the woods - and the mosquitoes will SWARM behind you if you forget the bug spray, so be prepared and you'll enjoy it much much... More

Not much in the way of interpretive signs. The forest is nice and it makes a nice break from the endless sand dunes. Birdwatching is fair to poor. A good place to get out of the omnipresent wind.

Easy to find, easy parking. A well marked short walk in the woods. No inclines so it's easy for everyone. Love the lookout platform. Take bug spray with you though!

This trail was a surprise with the various environments of the island ranging from a bit swampy to pine forests. Well maintained and marked with informative signage. A very nice 3/4 mile loop for a morning stroll.
