A pretty place just an hour from most of the Charlotte area. There are several what a novice hiker, like myself, would call novice trails. The trails are easy, moderate or strenuous, take your pick. The park is beautiful and well-maintained. Different hiking trails from easy to difficult-something for everyone. It's peaceful and beautiful in the summer. It's great for couples and families (but not very young children). An awesome place for a date, where you can be active and talk at the same time. More
