Ranged from average to real good. Like any other restaurants, some days better than others. Overall fine. As to the Catawba river itself, what else can I say, "It's a river." More

Canoes and kayaks can paddle comfortably for a family outing. You can do a roundtrip from the US Whitewater Center and have great amenities at your put-in/take-out More

The Catawba River in the Charlotte area runs through both developed and undeveloped areas giving the outdoor recreationalist an opportunity to explore, whether admiring lake front homes or wooded riverside with ospreys, muskrats, otters, and bald eagles. Down near the Langsford Canal State Park in SC, the river is home to the rare Spider lily which blooms in abundance each... More
