This is one of the best places in the Charlotte area to get your fix for live music. The place is always alive with music. It can get cramped when a good band is placing but the vibe is wonderful. Food is not as good as the bands, but I don't go for the food, I go for the music. More

One of the oldest true Blues Bars in the South -In an old house it has a unique chram . You dont come for the food as its limited and the place does not really start up until after 9. CVheck the locla papers for headliners and dont be suprised who may walk in and start jamming -- More

The Double Door has the best live music around, still small and friendly, hosting today's greatest musicians - just last week with Tab Benoit and his crazy wild blues! One of the oldest blues bars in the country, worth the trip for the pics on the wall alone. More

The jazz was brilliant with Bill and his band leading most numbers but inviiting audience members up to join in either playing along or on vocals. The audience gets to be up close to the music.
