Took an afternoon with the wife and experienced a little culture. The Mint Museum brings in collections from all around the world, just have to watch as to what's on exhibit. Great staff to help direct you to what you want to see, and doesn't seem to be crowded ever.

Wonderful museum with many different mediums. Love the top floor, especially the gowns on display. The ground are very pretty, easy parking, free.

Since 2010, this Museum has been known as Mint Museum Randolph. It is not located at 220 North Tryon Street as the review indicates but rather it is located at 2730 Randolph Rd, Charlotte. Some of the craft and design at the 220 North Tryon address has been incorporated into the Mint Museum Uptown. The 220 North Tryon location is... More

This museum is included in the price of the Mint Museum Uptown, and has free parking and a pretty setting. It was interesting reading about the museum's history, an American Mint (hence the name) closed down by the Federal government and re-invented as a museum in the 1930s as the result of a huge local effort. There's lots to see,... More

This was our favorite part of our trip to Charlotte. The opening room is quite breathtaking. I came away marveling at the creativity of the artists.

Lovely building. Interesting American art, but real gems are in the "crafts" area: blissful glass and wood creations. Don't miss this great museum/gallery. Amusing to see some fairly standard British plates and china in the collection. Made me feel exotic.

The museum was full of interesting and creative exhibits, I highly recommend. Very professionally run, and I'm not the biggest fan of museums generally.

This is probably the nicest museum I have visited. Everyone was friendly and helpful and I loved the exhibits. Everything was well laid out and attractive. I will definitely put it on my list of places to visit again the next time I am in Charlotte. The shop had lots of unusual gifts I wish I could have bought but... More

My husband & I spent approximately 1 1/2 hours here on a Friday afternoon. We enjoyed the exhibits and it was fun to cast our votes on some exhibits that were there temporarily. The winning exhibit will become permanent at the museum. The staff was friendly and informative.
