Took an afternoon with the wife and experienced a little culture. The Mint Museum brings in collections from all around the world, just have to watch as to what's on exhibit. Great staff to help direct you to what you want to see, and doesn't seem to be crowded ever.
Wonderful museum with many different mediums. Love the top floor, especially the gowns on display. The ground are very pretty, easy parking, free.
Since 2010, this Museum has been known as Mint Museum Randolph. It is not located at 220 North Tryon Street as the review indicates but rather it is located at 2730 Randolph Rd, Charlotte. This is probably the nicest museum I have visited. Everyone was friendly and helpful and I loved the exhibits. Everything was well laid out and attractive. I will definitely put it on my list of places to visit again the next time I am in Charlotte. The shop had lots of unusual gifts I wish I could have bought but...

My husband & I spent approximately 1 1/2 hours here on a Friday afternoon. We enjoyed the exhibits and it was fun to cast our votes on some exhibits that were there temporarily. The winning exhibit will become permanent at the museum. The staff was friendly and informative.
