This is a great concept. Wonderful dinner and great movie. I did get stuck sitting all the way in the front which sucks. Problem is that I had already paid before i was allowed to see what selection seats were left. Then it turned out that one of the three seats that we had didn't exist. Could be better but... More

this is the place I would take my boyfriend to enjoy a drink and good food along with a good movie. this isn't your typical movie theater. it has a full bar and fine dining. the staff was very professional and courteous. the atmosphere is very cool and modern. if you're visiting charlotte I highly recommend visiting this hotspot with... We love going to the movies! How great is it to go and be able to have grown-up drinks and food. There was a bar and lounge area outside of the actual screening area. What a great place to enjoy our favorite pass-time which caters to adults.

it was a new experience providing good service. the downtown area is a very family driven environment. museums including nascar are among many entertainment options. many restaurant and bar facilities range in price for a reasonable entertainment night.

Incredibly comfortable seats, and super-steep seating so that there's just no way the person in front of you will block the screen.

Studio Movie Grill was on Groupon so we gave it a try. You can make seat reservations, so you don't have to "hope" there is no one already in the top center seats :) Seats are comfortable, and there is a buzzer on the tray table top. It is actually NOT distracting to have some one bring you food/drinks during... More

This is a fun theater in that you can order dinner and eat in the movie itself. And the prices are reasonable. The one slight drawback is that the movies are just a hair out of date, making the theater less full than otherwise might be the case. On the other hand, that means you don't have to have someone... Studio Movie Grill @ EpiCentre is Charlottes only true upscale theatre. The uneducated compare it to Cinnebarre, however if you've ever been to Cineebarre you know that the movie selection, seats, & food are all very low rent. No comparision to SMG Epicentre where the seats are huge & plush. To be clear, there are some bugs SMG needs to... More

This was not a new concept to me, but I remember quite well that this was very nicely done. Comfortable seats. A little too darkly lit, but that's just a preference. All in all a good experience.

The movie prices and the food prices are to expensive. Not worth the trip to Uptown. Prefer the new on at the Arboretum (Cinnebar, I think it is called)
