Lot of well done displays in this free attraction. The history of West Point and the American Army is well presented. Unless you are very interested in the military, you will find the place a little "dry". There are no interactive displays, but loads of military uniforms and weapons. All in all worth a visit. More

An excellent depiction of the USMA history and legacy. Very moving when you consider all that have gone before. US History unfolds! Duty, Honor, Country!!!! More

A well presented history of West Point and interesting artifacts -- don't miss the replica of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima -- along with Einsein's letter to the President on his concerns with using the bomb. More

West point is magnificent in both history and setting. Have been to military museums all over the world, and, although relatively small, this was one of the best. The history of warfare section in particular is well laid out with a chronologically ordered display of artefacts, dioramas, identification of the main characters, great campaign maps and description of significant battles/practices,... Most people were just waiting on buses to take them on a tour of the Academy. Found it rather boring and musty smelling. More
