This is located within the NP, but the toilets really smell. I think they just need to get the ventilation in the ablution block right!! Please think about sorting this out. The same bio toilets are at the camp sites and ad fine as they have air circulation!! Such a shame!! Service for information was fine, though cautious.

We stopped here on our way to Turquoise Bay and it was a great little stop over. The lady working was very informative as the water had just had bad stingers in it 2 weeks previously so she told us all about that and it was safe for us to go in with our 2 little girls. We shopped a... More

Fabulous little stop and very informative. As we entered the centre we were greeted by a snake handler who gave us some info on the Stimson Snake and then let us all have a hold - just brilliant. The centre has plenty of info on what inhabits the area. Love it's remoteness and the fact that the centre is purely... More

I totally agree with Julie R's comments. Working in the visitor center would be great if it weren't for all those pesky visitors. Our first visit was our first port of call to Cape Range NP. The information in the center was informative and we were happy to spend 10mins watching a DVD about what we could expect to see... More

If this is the Visitors Centre near Turquoise Bay then sadly a little on the Dissapointing side. One lady (staff) seemed to be too busy to answer any questions that the other staff member had from me, and would turn away after briefly answering. Only a National Park info centre, not a Tourist Centre, which considering the location, would it... More

We stopped here n our way down the coast to Yardie Creek, and I wouldn't fault the quality of the displays or the helpfulness of the staff. And you just had to go outside to find a red kangaroo sheltering from the sun in the shade of a tree, and two Euros sheltering in the shade if the building- a... More

We have just returned to the UK after 4 weeks at Exmouth. This was our 7th visit. With the exception of a couple of days spent sheltering from Cyclone Narelle we travelled to the Cape Range National Park every day. The Visitor Centre gets it right on all levels. Take some time to sit in the cool and watch the video.... More
