Really enjoyed our visit to Farm Sanctuary. It's a beautiful piece of land and very well maintained. The tour was an hour and gave a chance to hang out with all the animals there. The guides were very friendly and seemed to really love working there. I had originally thought we would stay out there for more time, but it... More

This place is wonderful! All of the animals are rescues who get to live out their lives the way their lives should be. This is a great place to spend some time visiting with the animals and learning about them and the lives they once lived. While at Farm Sanctuary we stayed in one of the cabins on their property.... Although the Farm purports to be a Sanctuary for farmed animals it is also a Sanctuary for people. The experience of visiting Farm Sanctuary will have a profound, positive affect on you.

I wanted to take my teenage son here so he could learn why we are vegetarian before he is old enough to make his own food choices. My husband and I have been well aware of the horrors of factory farming and the unacceptable treatment of farm animals for many years, but a visit to Farm Sanctuary reaffirms the choice... More

I enjoyed the tour at Farm Sanctuary and hearing all the stories about the animals. The place is kept very clean and the animals seem very happy. Most of them have horror stories about where they came from. They are very fortunate to be there. I wish there were more of these places.

Must be seen to be appreciated. You will see for yourself what some people choose to do with their lives - and this is on of those places.

There is a definitive goal for the santuary IMO. That being to educate the public about the flawed policies of the modern meat production and dairy industry. The many abuses of the production of meat for consumption is highlighted both in the main barn complex as well as throughout the tour. Some of the photos posted were graphic but revealing.... More
