I can thoroughly recommend this to all travellers in Stonetown as one of the "must see" sites. Steet side it is quite un-noticeable; however, the interior is very well preserved and gives a good insight of the past life of the Sultans of Zanzibar. There is a guide there and I only paid about US$3 to spend as much time...
